Building Products/Materials

|
Some of the building materials and products that I have used over the years and continue to use are listed here in addition to their respective web sites if available. I rarely use some of the newer products or materials on the market for the simple fact that they are not time proven and may not yet meet my requirements, standards or expectations. Over the course of time these products may be all that they are purported or marketed to be. I personally like to hear feed back from others in the business what works and what does not. Sometimes a product may need to be re-designed or engineered differently. Just because it is advertised to be the latest and greatest thing on the market does not make it necessarily so. Many of these companies spend untold sums of money in just the marketing and advertising and not the research and development phase. I have seen products and materials come and go in this business over the years, some good and some bad just like any other industry. Many companies are quick to rush products to market to beat out the competition which can have grave consequences. The idea being to be first out is to corner that market and to re-coupe these initial investment costs quickly. I like time proven products and materials that are able to stand the test of time in all types of weather and working conditions or environments. This is not to say that I am totally against any new product on the market. I will research and evaluate any and all products and give my opinion on the pros or cons of them. Feel free to browse any or all of these websites regarding some of these products and to get ideas for your next building project. Please e-mail me with any ideas or input.I look forward to working with you in the future.
