The Coral (#1) Beach Haven

The Coral model is among one of the most popular homes I have built to date on Long Beach Island. This particular home I have personally built nine different times at various locations on the Island. I have numbered the photos on this page to show the order in which they were built, #1 being the first and so on. These photos show various exterior looks of the Coral model with different siding applications. I only included a few interior shots of one of the homes. The configurations and layout of this particular home has changed in each one that I have built and continue to evolve. Each homeowner had different ideas and needs as well as wanting to put their own personal touch or design elements into the home. Due to it's immense appeal and popularity I am confident there will be many more variations of this home to come. This home features a very open, spacious and traditional floor plan that people just fall in love with. The home is a four bedroom two and a half bath design with the living room on the first floor and a family room on the second floor with a wet bar if desired (non-reversed living). The master bedroom suite with bath is conveniently located on the first floor in addition to another half bath and laundry area.  A junior master bedroom or suite has also been an added feature to the home on the second floor with the two other bedrooms. The covered front porch located off the living and dining room areas on the first floor is also a nice feature for outdoor entertaining. There is an additional open deck off of the second floor family room and a rooftop deck has been built on some of the Coral models. A morning deck is an extension off of the master bedroom at the back of the home. An elevator can be designed into the plans if need be. A two car garage is on the ground floor and gives direct inside access to the interior of the home. I have also built this model with a screened porch at ground level at the rear of the home. This home has a timeless design and style that is just a perfect fit for the island which is evident by its popularity. This home is designed by the architectural firm of Lomer & Meggitt # 8 S.
